My journey to becoming a photographer started in 2011 when we moved to the Northern Drakensberg region.
The breathtaking beauty inspired me to buy my first DSLR camera. Being right next to Royal Natal National Park, we went hiking and exploring and I photographed the beauty of the majestic Drakensberg.
In 2017 I started taking lifestyle photographs of friends and my photography business began, I became a PHOTOGRAPHER.
In 2018 I was the photographer for my first wedding at Brahman Hills.
Since my start in 2017 I have taken countless photos for families, corporate events (gala diners, prize givings and conferences), and some interior and exterior photography for local businesses in the hospitality sector.
2020 was a big year
Yolandi, my wife, started joining me at weddings as an assistant and second photographer, two pairs of eyes are better than one.
A wedding RSVP website, under www.loveatfirstsight.co.za,, was launched as a first by a wedding photographer is South Africa.
I got on board with a printing company that offer beautiful stylish leather, wood and textured line wedding albums.
I love my wife, my two kids, the mountains, the outdoors
I LOVE BEING A PHOTOGRAPHER AND I LOVE TO PHOTOGRAPH WEDDINGS.
Simon Sinek said, and it is so true in life;
“Working hard for something we don’t care about is called STRESS.
Working hard for something we love is called PASSION”
and I have a PASSION for photography.
